When it comes to the medical screening portion of your quote, there are a set of questions which need to be answered honestly and accurately so that we can provide you with a suitable quote. Some of these questions will ask you about medical conditions you have had in your lifetime, and others will ask about conditions within the past two years.
Those questions are as follows:
- Have you ever been diagnosed with or treated for any cancerous, respiratory, diabetes, heart or circulatory conditions?
- Have you ever received an organ transplant or dialysis?
- Have you ever been diagnosed with any psychological or psychiatric conditions?
- In the last 2 years, have you attended a hospital or clinic, as an inpatient or outpatient?
- Have you been prescribed medication, received treatment, or attended a medical practitioner's surgery in the last 2 years?
We will also ask about conditions which might affect our ability to provide a quote, or which might require further discussion with a call centre agent:
- Are you or anyone in your party currently on a waiting list for treatment or investigation for a diagnosed condition?
- Are you currently awaiting any treatment or investigation for an undiagnosed condition?
- Have you or anyone in your party been given a terminal prognosis?
